Dr. Roland Geres, managing partner of FutureCamp Holding GmbH, is a co-founder of FutureCamp. Since 2001, he has been responsible for all consulting and service activities in the business areas of emissions trading and climate protection. He has extensive experience in all regulatory, economic and organisational aspects of climate protection, emissions trading and project-based mechanisms.
He is actively involved in shaping their development and regularly participates in international climate negotiations and national events. He also participates in a working group at the interface between German industry and the German government. Before joining FutureCamp, Dr. Geres worked as a management consultant at Mannesmann Pilotentwicklung and as an officer in the German Armed Forces.
He studied governance and public policy with a focus on environmental law and economics at University of the Bundeswehr, where he received his doctoral degree.
