We are excited to announce the “UNcomplex” 17th edition of the QED conference, which will take place at the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera near Zadar from May 18 to May 20, 2025. Get ready for for a three-day conference full of lively sessions led by some of the biggest industry experts.
An old proverb says, “May you live in interesting times.”
Our generation has indeed been granted this wish. For at least a decade, we have been acutely aware that technological advancement not only progresses but does so exponentially. Furthermore, in the last four years, we have faced a series of geopolitical shocks. The IT sector has always felt like surfing on waves, but these events have upset the ocean we navigate. The industry’s responses increased complexity. The rise of cloud computing, AI, regulations, etc., complicates our environment even more.
Clarifying the jungle in which we work and reducing our complexity are essential issues to address. However, this ever-shifting landscape also presents us with a wealth of opportunities for innovation. The diversity of ideas and solutions is one answer, but we also need a multitude of tools to navigate it effectively—tools that include new knowledge and experiences.
To connect with last year’s theme, let’s quote Scott E. Kelly: “Complex systems are inherently interesting, producers of amazing novelty, and not clean and simple, which makes them a lively playground for the mind.”
Let’s play and find out how to simplify our complex world at the next QED and, in doing so, unleash our innovation potential.
We look forward to seeing you in May 2025.
