CROZ mit Freunden: Collective – A Shared Beginning

January 15, 2026

As we dig deeper into preparations for QED 2026, where Collective will take center stage, we’re opening the conversation early, with the people whose perspectives shape us the most.

This February in Munich, we’re gathering our long-time collaborators, partners, and friends for a pre-conference moment designed to spark the first chapter of this year’s QED story.

CROZ mit Freunden, held at our Germany office on February 4, is a semi-formal roundtable created for thoughtful, cross-disciplinary exchange. It’s intentionally small, intentionally personal, and intentionally grounded in curiosity. In a world where complex challenges rarely belong to a single domain, we want to explore what “collective” really means today:

  • How does collective intelligence emerge?
  • What does shared responsibility look like in modern organizations?
  • How does networked thinking shape the future of business, technology, and society?

This isn’t about arriving at firm conclusions. It’s about opening the space for questions, doubts, insights, provocations, and contrarian viewpoints – exactly the ingredients that help us crystallize the themes we’ll later explore with Nassim Nicholas Taleb, keynote speaker of QED 2026.

Together, we’ll identify the ideas worth carrying forward into the wider conversations awaiting us in Zadar this May.

Following the roundtable, we’ll continue the discussion more informally over traditional food and drinks. Because gatherings like these are not only about ideas — they’re also about reconnecting with people we trust and genuinely enjoy working with.

Why this gathering matters?

  • It sets the tone for the Collective theme ahead of QED 2026
  • It shapes the questions we’ll take to Taleb
  • It brings together diverse perspectives in a meaningful exchange
  • It deepens a shared network built on collaboration, trust, and curiosity

CROZ mit Freunden marks the beginning of a journey we’ll continue – thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with collective intelligence at the core.
