It is well known that QED enthusiasts are fans of a healthy lifestyle and sports activities. QED wouldn’t be QED without such an activity. In recent years, the conference’s sports program has included taking part in the Wings for Life World Run in Zadar, happening on day one of the conference. After a wonderful experience with the initiative each time, we decided to bring it back again this year.
For QED 2026 conference participants, we have secured a limited number of paid race entries! All you need to do is, in the second step of QED registration form, tick the box indicating that you would like to participate in the Wings for Life World Run.
What makes Wings for Life unique?
You will run for a good cause, because 100% of the entry fee goes towards spinal cord research, helping to find a cure. The run concept is simple: you run as far as you can until the Catcher Car passes you. The Catcher Car sets off 30 minutes after the start of the race, and gradually speeds up, catching up with runners one by one until only one person remains.
Last year, the Wings for Life run raised over 8.6 million EUR, and we’re hoping to exceed that this year. Each of you can join in and make a difference!
So, will you give it a shot?
Our colleagues from CROZ invite you to join their team so that, together, you can achieve the best possible result! The global Wings for Life World Run starts at 13:00 Croatian time at several dozen locations around the world. More information about the race is available here.
Register for QED 2026 here TODAY and run with us in Zadar in May!
