As a qualified freight forwarding agent with decades of experience in messaging and digitalization, he combines in-depth industry expertise with forward-looking technologies. His areas of focus include AI-driven process automation, Intelligent Document Processing, e-invoicing, and the integration of customer and supplier processes via EDI and WebEDI. Drawing on extensive hands-on experience, he understands the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation firsthand and translates them into scalable, sustainable solutions. Steffen joined Retarus in 2013 as a Senior Sales Engineer. Prior to that, he held positions including at DHL Global Forwarding GmbH.
