Jonas is a true data science evangelist and leads the DATEV UX/CX Technologies team consisting of software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists – thinking UX Research more technical. Together with his team, Jonas is responsible for integrating the UX/CX Architecture into DATEV’s IT landscape, measuring feedback automatically and at scale across numerous touchpoints, as well as analyzing the feedback with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms (e.g., sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and NER for anonymization).

Before joining the company, Jonas was a research and teaching assistant at the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. Jonas holds a master’s degree in economics and a PhD in statistics from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.
